Project overview:

The 2023 China Conference & Exhibition Industry Summit Forum (CCESF) and the 19th China International MICE Industry Innovation and Development Conference (Spring) were held in Shanghai from March 16 to 18, 2023. Shen Lixiong, a partner and president of HIMICE Communications Group, was invited to attend and delivered a keynote speech at the conference held in the morning. 

The conference was jointly organized by China Convention and Exhibition Think Tank, First Exhibition Magazine, national convention and exhibition cities, and provincial and municipal convention and exhibition industry associations. The conference was attended by nearly 500 guests including leaders of relevant ministries and commissions, national exhibition cities, government authorities, and well-known enterprises as well as industry elites, gurus, authoritative experts, news media, etc. 

2023 is the first year to follow the guiding principles of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. China’s economy fully recovered this year. The theme of this year’s conference is “Empowerment, Innovation, Breakthrough – New Opportunities, New Ideas and New Trends in the Post-COVID Era”. Through a high-end, forward-looking and pragmatic exchange platform for China’s exhibition industry, participants explored the “convention and exhibition plus” brand, digital, group, and international trend, and promoted new growth, creating a better future for the convention and exhibition industry! 

As a highlight of the forum, the 2022 “China Expo STAR” annual award ceremony was held at night on March 17. HIMICE Communications Group received the “2022 China Convention and Exhibition Leading Enterprise” China Convention and Exhibition Star Award.
